Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about DROP TLC co-ownership.

Getting Started

Not yet. This is the founding stage — where vision, structure, and community are formed.

Joining DROP TLC now means you're part of building it from the ground up. Platforms created with drivers from the start give you co-ownership and a real voice—wait until it's built, and you'll only be a user, not a founder.

DROP TLC is not built to extract from drivers. It is being built to empower and make them co-owners.

About Funding

A one-time contribution of ₦30,000 secures your co-ownership and voice in building DROP TLC. This payment is all you need to become part of the movement.

No, we only accept one-time payments. This keeps our system simple, transparent, and easier to manage. Each driver has exactly one funding record.

Payment is made via bank transfer to the official DROP TLC bank account. After registration and verification, you'll see the bank details in your portal. Use your Driver ID as payment reference.

DROP TLC is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Nigeria (RC: 8105739), operating under CAMA 2020. All funds are held in official company accounts with full accountability to co-owners.

Contributions are your stake in building DROP TLC and are generally non-refundable. Any exceptions are clearly outlined in the MOU and company constitution, so please review these documents carefully before contributing.

About Governance

Only verified, paid co-owners can vote. Voting happens through your driver portal on key decisions like policy changes and major expenditures. Each co-owner gets one vote. Results are auditable and time-stamped.

Co-owners vote on key company decisions including commission rates, platform policies, major expenditures, and strategic direction. Your voice truly matters.

Yes! Full transparency is a core value. All verified co-owners have access to financial reports, governance documents, and audit logs through the driver portal.

About the Platform

The DROP TLC app is coming soon! Our roadmap guides development, testing, and launch, and every contribution helps us move closer to bringing the platform to life. Check the "How It Works" page for full details.

Yes, you can continue driving for other platforms while waiting for DROP TLC to launch. Once launched, we encourage prioritizing DROP TLC, but there are no exclusivity requirements.

Exit provisions are outlined in the MOU and company constitution. These documents will be available for review before you make your contribution. In general, ownership stakes are transferable under certain conditions.

We plan to launch in major Nigerian cities first, with Lagos as the initial focus. Expansion to other states will follow based on co-owner distribution and demand. Check our progress tracker for updates.

About Registration

Registration is strictly for active e-hailing drivers with valid documentation. You need a valid driver's license, NIN, and must be currently active or previously active as an e-hailing driver.

DROP TLC requires your National Identification Number (NIN) solely for identity verification, security, and regulatory compliance.

As Nigeria's first driver-owned platform being built, to be funded, and driver-co-owned e-hailing platform, we must ensure that:

  • Every registered driver is real and verifiable.
  • Ownership and future benefits are fairly allocated.
  • Fraud, impersonation, and duplicate registrations are prevented.
  • We comply with Nigerian KYC and regulatory requirements.

Your NIN helps us protect the collective interest of all drivers, especially as DROP TLC prepares for future operations, earnings, and ownership benefits.

Data Protection & Privacy

Your information is handled in strict compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). DROP TLC does not sell, share, or misuse your data. It is used only for verification and internal operational purposes.

Verification typically takes 24-48 hours. You'll receive an email notification once your registration is approved. If rejected, you'll be informed of the reason.

No. Privacy is important. Each driver can only see their own data. No visibility into other drivers' funding, identity, or status. This protects everyone's privacy.
